Fall and Halloween Charcuterie Boards

Charcuterie boards are a must have for any gatherings at our homes these days. They are so fun to create, because you can get so creative with them. They can be seasonal or you can keep them classic with just cheese, meat, fruits, and some crackers. The boards I’m sharing are fall themed and Halloween themed.

How to create an epic charcuterie board:

Step 1: Find the right board. Your board can be rectangular, round, square or even marble. Large cutting board is a perfect option as well.

Step 2: Choose about 3 different cheeses. You will need a variety of cheeses such as: brie, goat cheese, blue cheese, cheddar, havarti, Gouda, etc.

Step 3: Cheese the meat. Prosciutto, pepperoni, and dried cured salami are a great options.

Step 4: Extras are basically jam, honey, olives, nuts, mini pickles, etc.

Step 5: Fresh or dry fruit or both! Grapes, berries, dry apricots, dry oranges, dry mangos, etc.

Step 6: Crackers or pita chips.

For my Fall themed board, I used:

  • Cheese: cheddar, brie cheese (with fig jam and walnuts), and cranberry goat cheese.
  • Fruits: strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries.
  • Dry fruits: kiwi, oranges, cantaloupe, and mangos.
  • Joe Joe’s cookies from Trader Joe’s.
  • Boo chips!
  • Crackers.

Halloween Board

This board was way too much fun! It’s perfect for not only kids, but also adults.

For this board I added:

  • Boo chips!
  • Carrots
  • Pumpkin Spice pretzels
  • Crackers
  • Reese’s Pumpkin Chocolate
  • Candy Cane

Charcuterie boards are perfect for any sort of gatherings. They’re also great for those nights we want to stay in and watch a movie and drink a glass of wine. They can be as extravagant as a size of large dining table or just a small board. Have fun creating a board for your next gathering or just for yourself!
