Weekend in Nashville! Nashville, Tennessee is known as Music City. The city is the birthplace of country music and has a lot to offer so if you get a chance to go, don’t miss the chance! The city’s energy is truly unmatched. Nashville will make you want to dance even if you don’t know how to dance!

We landed in Nashville on Friday night, so we didn’t do much! We just checked into our hotel and had dinner.

Weekend in Nashville, 3 Day Itinerary

Day 1

  • Breakfast at our hotel
  • Matcha at Frothy Monkey- The Nations location- I also had their avocado toast and it was amazing!
  • McKay’s Bookstore- this is a huge bookstore, so have fun!
  • The Parthenon- Centennial Park- Parthenon is a replica of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. The park is beautiful to just walk around and enjoy the scenery.
  • Lunch at The Goat- beautiful restaurant! Located in “Germantown”
  • Coffee at Crema Coffee Roasters- located in the heart of Nashville. The latte was probably one of the best latte I have ever had!
  • Music Row- you can park and walk or just drive around the neighborhood.
  • Donuts at Five Daughters Bakery- seriously the BEST donuts! The location is beautiful and their donuts are truly the BEST! We went here twice!
  • 12 South neighborhood- this is a famous neighborhood. Just park and walk around! There are tons of restaurants and boutiques. The famous “I Believe In Nashville mural is here!
  • Dinner at The Stillery
  • Walk around Broadway!

Day 2

  • Coffee at White Bison Coffee- this was the 12th Ave South location
  • I spend a second day walking around the 12 South neighborhood
  • Lunch at the Radish Kitchen
  • L&L Market- lots of little shops inside the shopping mall
  • Dinner at The Pharmacy- delicious burgers!

Day 3

  • Coffee at Frothy Monkey- Downtown Franklin location
  • Walk around Franklin town- a beautiful town, full of history!
  • Walked to Lotz House Museum, but didn’t go inside.
  • John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge- Nashville- you get a view of downtown!
  • Lunch at Arnold’s Country Kitchen- southern food!

Notes & Tips for Weekend in Nashville

  • We didn’t get a chance to go to Hattie B’s, just because every time we tried, the line was SUPER long and parking is really hard in downtown area.
  • Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
  • Johnny Cash Museum
  • We tried to get drinks at Luke Bryan or Jason Aldean bars at Broadway, but they were both really busy. So if you want to go, be prepared to wait for at least an hour on a weekend.

Recipe- 
- cooked shredded chicken breast
- 1-2 jalapeños, chopped finely
- 2 tbsp cream soft, soften
- bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded Mexican style cheese blend
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- salt & black pepper
- tortillas, I used almond flour
- cilantro for garnish

Mix all of the ingredients together and assemble the tacos. Place on a baking sheet, spray with oil and bake at 425 degrees F for 8-10 minutes or until crispy.

Recipe-
2 1/2 cups oats 
1 cup coconut flour 
1/4 cup honey 
1/2 cup melted coconut oil 
2 tbsp peanut butter 
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract 
1/8 tsp salt
Your favorite jam! 

Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees F, cool, add ham and then bake 15 more minutes. Let cool completely before slicing!

Lemon Garlic Roasted Potatoes with Burrata 
- potatoes- cut into cubes
- salt & pepper
- 2 tbsp avocado oil 
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- fresh dill, chopped
- 1 lemon, juiced
- burrata cheese

 Roast at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes. Add sauce and continue roasting for additional 20 minutes or until crispy and golden!
