Gluten-Free Double Chocolate Banana Bread

- 2 ripened bananas, mashed (medium size)
- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup almond butter
- ⅓ cup coconut sugar
- 1 cup almond flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ⅓ cup cacao powder
- 2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ¼ cup dark chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a 8x8 pan with parchment paper or grease with oil and set aside. In a large bowl, mash the two bananas.
Add the eggs to the same bowl and whisk until eggs and bananas are well combined.
Add almond butter, vanilla extract, coconut sugar, cacao powder, baking powder, and almond flour and mix until all of the ingredients are well combined.
Bake the cake for 45-50 minutes or until you insert a toothpick in the middle and it comes out clean. Let the bread to completely cool, before cutting into slices.
