Nutella Baked Donuts

Soft baked donuts filled with Nutella! You only need one bowl and few basic ingredients for these homemade baked donuts. They’re the perfect afternoon dessert or a special breakfast treat!

Serious questions, is it donuts or doughnuts?! I call them donuts. As someone who loves donuts and Nutella, I decided to baked donuts filled with Nutella. One way to make donuts “healthy-ish” is to bake them! These donuts are perfect with cup of coffee or tea for breakfast or an afternoon snack.

To make these soft baked donuts, you only need few basic ingredients and one bowl. You dont even need a hand mixer or stand mixer! This recipe makes four donuts, so you can easily double the recipe to make more donuts! I skipped adding sugar in the base recipe, because I added Nutella, but if you want to skip the Nutella, add 1/4 cup of sugar to the recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 cup Nutella

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and spray a donut pan with cooking spray and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, whisk the egg until light and fluffy.
  • Add vanilla extract, milk, olive oil and mix until everything is well combined.
  • Add flour and baking powder and mix until combined.
  • Transfer half of the batter in the donut pan. Add the Nutella and top it with the remaining of the batter. This recipe creates 4 donuts! Bake for 10-12 minutes and once baked, let them cool before enjoying!
